Chilly Fall Days

November 9, 2018

This year’s fall colours have been stunning; intense reds, brilliant golden yellows, and shades in between have dotted tree lined streets and ravines in Toronto. How lucky are we to have this joyous burst of colour, even if it’s also a harbinger of cold weather and snow?

As I write this blog, it’s cold and wet outside and in fact, it has been raining all day. It is definitely a day to stay inside, be cozy and read a book. Russell Hill residents can truly enjoy wonderful camaraderie in our dining room and perhaps a concert and an exercise class. That is particularly important on a day like this.

Imagine snow and ice. Imagine living in a beautiful retirement residence with friendship, exercise, delicious meals, all at hand without going outside when the weather is prohibitive.
